I did when I was 17, a black one with a hot cam and some other internals work. Did someone say lift-off oversteer?! Taught me how to drive, that car.

Cost me £4k a year to insure though so swapped it for a 1994 XSi, which was very nearly as much fun.

I wish we got some of those Euro hot hatches over here; I can't think of many other cars I would've wanted more when I was 17. Hopefully they stay cheap when they turn 25 and I can bring one over! For now though, I've got the next best thing though, their Japanese equivalent.

And the tow hook wasn't originally red to my knowledge, that's just a little personal touch:)

A good S1 Rallye is about £5k here now, exactly what I sold mine for in 2002!
